Modular Sci-Fi Corridor

I decided to create an environment based off of a concept of a corridor in a futuristic space station. I am happy to say that, for the most part, I managed to stick to the schedule I had created at the beginning of this project.

The Proxy and the First Lighting Pass. Created the basic shapes, took it to Unreal for a First Pass Lighting.

High Poly Detailing with Second Lighting Pass. I found it too surgical, too sterile. I wanted to go a little bit more atmospheric, and closer to the concept.

Third Lighting Pass. Closer to the look and feel I wanted. I also created some wires which would be scattered on the floor, plus hanging from the ceiling. These assets would break the otherwise monotonous nature of the environment.

The wires give the impression that this corridor is being worked on, repaired, which was what I interpreted from the concept itself.

The final Lighting Pass with textures. I removed the wires from the final version, because they didn't fit with the look and feel I was going for.

I wanted the adjacent corridor to be lit differently from the main, so created elements of contrast here.
